"He's not a tame lion."


When I was little and my artist brother would take me through the Nelson Gallery, as it was then known, we would always stop by this lion (Etruscan, I think). He showed me that you can put your fingers into the side of his jaw. Then you can talk someone on the other side into inserting their finger into the front of his mouth and pinch their fingers.
This worked well for me on school field trips.
Obviously, you can't get away with that anymore. But I always think about it.

That's a quote from one of the Narnia books about Aslan. I always associate lions with Aslan.
Tigers I associate with Little Black Sambo.
