The Very Large Array in NM

Someone said they liked pictures of the southwest. Here's another one. I don't know if I took it or not, but I was there. There was a lot of photo sharing going on.
Perhaps you remember seeing "Contact". This is where it was filmed.
But that wasn't what I was going to write about. What I was going to say is: You should always listen to those nagging doubts...
When I got divorced I tried to get my name removed from my ex's bank account. They wouldn't do it at my request, they said he had to request it. But it never happened. In the meantime I was still able to use the account when I went shopping for my daughter's clothes, which was handy. But now his finances have gone down the tubes and they closed his account... my daughter's savings was attached to it. So I tried to open up another savings account for her attached to my own account. It wouldn't go, because it had been turned over to ChexSystems and now I have a notification with them for the next five effing years that something nasty happened to me with my bank. In other words, I'm being punished for still having my name attached to his account. So I have to jump through all their hoops to dispute the record. Sheeeit.
A week ago when this happened I was so freaking pissed off. Now it's dulled a bit, thank goodness.

We saw an incredibly enormous dish in St. Croix, hidden under a hillside on the far east side of the island. Just past it is the easternmost point in the US, where you can look down off the cliffs to see the deepest trench in the Atlantic, and have your hair blown about the most in the Caribbean, and smell the most rotting seaweed, and be the most exalted you've ever been, and be attacked by the world's largest giant squid.
