IF you couldn't keep your job when all about you
Were doing more than theirs and blaming it on you
If you could trust yourself when all men doubt you
(They saw you weren't very good at what you do)
If you could wait and not be tired by waiting,
Although others were tired of waiting for you
And yet didn't look too good, nor talk too wise;
Which seemed to come with the territory,
And if you spent too much computer time doing your own "stuff"
And tossed items for "tech" in the dumpster
Would you have the nerve to come back in cheerfully and ask for your last paycheck?
