This will probably interest almost nobody, but when I was 18 months old, I stayed with my mom's best friend for 6 weeks while she and my dad took a group of students to Europe. (Just for the record, my mom hated being away from me so much that she came home early. That's how special I am!)Anyhow, while I was there in Mulberry, Indiana, the town celebrated their 100th anniversary with a parade... this year they celebrated their 150th anniversary and printed this historic photo of the previous parade.
That's me being held by the lady in the dark dress. She was always one of my mom's best friends and keeps in touch with me regularly, just like her other best friend does!
